Assistant Professor, Global Politics
The Politics Department at the University of Winnipeg invites
applications for a one year appointment in Global Politics at the rank
of assistant professor subject to budgetary approval. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach courses in some of the following
areas of Global Politics or International Relations: IR theory,
international organization, critical security studies and human
security. Candidates with a PhD, or ABD and close to completion, will be
considered. Teaching experience and a record of research is preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Applications will be
reviewed on July 16. The position will remain open until filled. The
appointment will be effective August 1, 2010.
