nine- month full-time sessional appointment in the area of Comparative Politics

The Department of Political Science at Mount Allison University invites applications for a nine- month full-timesessional appointment in the area of Comparative Politics. Candidates should possess, or be nearing completion of, a PhD in Political Science and have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and an active research program.

The successful candidate will teach the Introductory Course (Foundations of Politics) and upper level courses in Comparative Politics - including European Politics.

The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, commensurate with qualifications, and will commence 1 August, 2010, subject to budgetary approval.  An application should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, three reference letters, an example of completed research, and a teaching dossier.  Applications should be sent to:
